Dr. David Tyler, a native of Illinois, has served as a pastor in Southern Baptist Churches in Illinois and South Carolina. He holds a B.A. in Theology, an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling. Presently, Dr. Tyler is the Director of Gateway Biblical Counseling and Training Center, a ministry of Edgemont Bible Church in Fairview Heights, Illinois. He is certified by the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors and the International Association of Biblical Counselors. Dr. Tyler is the Vice-president of the Board of Directors of Master's Divinity School in Evansville, Indiana. He serves on the board of directors of Personal Freedom Outreach in Saint Louis, Missouri, and is a regular contributor to The Quarterly Journal. Dr. Tyler also lectures and leads workshops on Biblical counseling. He is the author of Jesus Christ: Self-Denial or Self-Esteem? published by Timeless Texts, Self-Esteem: Are We Really Better Than We Think? by Personal Freedom Outreach and Deceptive Diagnosis: When Sin is Called Sickness by Focus Publishing. |

Dr. Kurt Grady is associate pastor and director of Cornerstone Biblical
Counseling and Learning Center at First Southern Baptist Church in
Cahokia, IL. He earned both Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy
degrees from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and completed residency
training at the University of Florida Health Science Center in
Jacksonville emphasizing adult critical care. He subsequently earned a
Master's degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois
University at Edwardsville. Dr. Grady also holds a Doctor of Biblical
Studies degree with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling from Master's Divinity Schoolin Evansville, Indiana and he
is currently pursuing a Master's of Divinity degree from the same
institution. His ongoing research interests are in the areas of
unnecessary psychiatric drug therapy and the impact these drugs have on
a Christian's progressive sanctification. Kurt is certified by the
International Association of Biblical Counselors
and he is a member of hristian Pharmacists Fellowship International, where he serves as an assistant editor for
the journal
Christianity and Pharmacy. With Dr. David
Tyler, he is the co-author of Deceptive Diagnosis: When Sin is Called
Sickness by Focus Publishing. Kurt has published several articles and
he lectures and leads workshops on biblical counseling topics.

Mr. Johnny Kicklighter has served as a lay counselor for over 15 years. He obtained an Associates Degree in Weather Forecasting from the Community College of the Air Force. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Liberty University and a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling from the Master's Divinity School. After serving in the US Air Force for 26 years, he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. Johnny is Certified by the International Association of Biblical Counselors. Johnny and his wife have four grown sons and 5 grandchildren. |

Mark Hager is Pastor of Crosshaven Community Church, Eureka, MO. He is a Saint Louis native and spent fifteen years in community service before finding Christ through a counseling session in 1990. Mark was called to full-time Christian service in 1996 and became certified by the International Association of Biblical Counselors and the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors in 2000. He holds a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry, a M.Div., and a Doctorate of Practical Theology in Biblical Counseling. Mark & his wife Cindy founded the Heart Biblical Counseling Center, where they are currently serving. |

Connie is the director of Ladies Bible Studies at Edgemont Bible Church. Connie and her husband have 2 childen and 5 grandchildren. |

Char White holds a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling from Master's Divinity School, and a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from College of the Ozarks. She is Certified by the International Association of Biblical Counselors. She teaches 4th through 7th grade at Berean Christian School. Char and her husband have 6 childen and 1 grandchild. |
